About Ron Kidd, PhD

Dr. Ron Kidd is an expert psychologist who has been a clinical practioner in the field of mental health for over thirty five years. He received his PhD from The University of Texas at Austin with a major in Educational Psychology and his Masters degree from The University of Texas at Austin with a major in English. He has received extensive training and post graduate expertise throughout his career.

Services are provided through individual therapy sessions, marriage and family counseling as well as group therapy.  A full range of psychological testing is available with Dr. Kidd, including testing for ADHD, gifted placement, autism, or learning disabilities.

About Betty Eastman, LCSW 

Betty Eastman brings a rich background of practice and formal training to the communities of Newport News and Poquoson.

She has been in practice since 1996 and has been practicing at Christian Psychotherapy Services since 2001. She adheres to the ethics and standards of the National Association of Clinical Social Workers. She graduated from Virginia Tech and Norfolk State with a Master of Social Work degree.

Betty’s perspective on therapy is that all of life is united and interrelated through a connection of body, mind, and spirit. She works with clients to bring all these forces into harmony through Christian-based counseling.

Betty Eastman is an active volunteer in the community and member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

About Leslie Brown Margeson, LCSW

Formerly practicing under the name Leslie Brown, Leslie has served the communities of Gloucester, Williamsburg and the surrounding areas as an outstanding, multifaceted therapist for the past 20 years. She worked with Dr. Phillips, Rose & Associates in Gloucester, with Family Living in Williamsburg, and in her own private practice, LET'S TALK.

Leslie graduated from Michigan State University and Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Social Work degree. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Management, Tough Love, Family Systems, Insight-Oriented and Play Therapy. She continues to update her training through professional resources and seminars.

Leslie brings a Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual awareness and passion to her work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and seniors. She has a down-to-earth, common sense approach to life's problems and uses the mind-body connection to help achieve optimal health. Although pain and intense feelings are usually part of the process, Leslie also puts the FUN back into healing and becoming whole again. She has worked with school systems, courts, probation officers, social service agencies, mental health, homeless, crisis teams, doctors, hospitals, substance abuse programs, eating disorder programs, eating disorder facilities and battered women shelters.

About Christina Jones, LCSW

Christina graduated from Norfolk State University with a Master of Social Work degree. She has experience with the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck Community Services Board with developing individualized service plans, crisis intervention, assisting, educating and counseling clients. Christina has also worked with Child Protective Services to assist families to locate and apply for resources.

Christina works with patients of all ages, for individual, group, couples or family therapy. Her compassionate, patient manner make her an excellent choice particularly for children and adolescents. She is currently leading a Social Skills group for children with ADHD.
